Inside the Mind of an Iconic Genius
In addition to showcasing his well-known artistic legacy, the show presents a deep dive into Da Vinci’s scientific investigations and technical visions, including his reflections on the human body, nature, and even the cosmos. “The goal is to inspire people to consider how Da Vinci’s ideas relate to today’s society and scientific developments – his profoundly gifted mind foresaw many of the global challenges we face today more than 500 years ago,” said Linnar Viik, exhibition organiser from PoCo, adding that the innovative technology used in the exhibition allows visitors to experience the world through Da Vinci’s eyes.
Da Vinci’s Work Merged with Cutting-Edge Technology
The art experience takes visitors on an interactive journey through Da Vinci’s art and inventions, spanning painting and engineering to astronomy and ecology. Interactive AI-powered technology, floor-to-ceiling projections, and 360-degree sound design create an immersive environment where iconic works such as “Mona Lisa” and “The Last Supper” come to life and are revealed in a new light.
“The exhibition is designed for visitors of all ages – combining state-of-the-art technology with educational content, linking Leonardo da Vinci’s life and works with the present day. Inspired by Da Vinci, the show also explores the boundaries of creativity through technology, light, storytelling, and music, offering both new knowledge and a chance to engage with his legacy,” said Viik.
“Da Vinci Genius” is a 45-minute award-winning immersive art experience, produced by London-based Phoenix Immersive, with creative concept and design by Berlin multimedia design studio
flora&faunavisions. The soundtrack is an original work by GRAMMY-nominated British electronic music Sasha, whose spatial audio accompanies the visitor throughout the entire experience and also served as a creative director of the show.
