Scott Rudmann

Scott Rudmann
Managing Partner, Founder

Scott founded Nectar Capital in 2001. He has over 15 years of experience in investing, financing, and operations in the media and leisure sectors. Scott previously worked in private equity at J. Rothschild Capital Management.

Prior to his private equity experience, Scott was an investment banker at Deutsche Bank in London with the media corporate finance team where equity deals he originated, structured, or completed amounted to over £6.2 billion across the publishing and broadcasting fields. Scott also spent three years at McKinsey and Company in California, Argentina, and Brazil, where his clients included a major Hollywood motion picture studio, two major American symphony orchestras, the US Government (for their strategy for bringing the Internet into public schools), private banks in the United States and Argentina, a natural gas derivatives company, and a privately held global construction and engineering company.

Scott holds a BA magna cum laude in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) from Claremont McKenna College and Oxford University, and an MBA (high distinction) from the Harvard Business School. He is a committee member of the Council of Democrats Abroad and a regular contributor to the London Symphony Orchestra.

Scott currently serves on the Board of a Nectar portfolio company, a leading sports marketing and media rights business based in Asia. He also serves as Portfolio Manager for the Nectar Value fund, a "wealth-preservation+" long-bias fund trading globally in equities and fixed income.


Martin Marston

Prior to joining Nectar and since 2009, Martin has served as Portfolio Manager of Linear Investments, an asset management firm he founded. Previously he was Portfolio Manager at Catapult Partners, overseeing a global financials and real estate fund, and at GLG, where he was an Asset Manager within the Emerging Markets Fund. Martin began his securities career at Tribeca Investment Management and Gartmore.

Martin holds a B.Sc in Economics, Business and Computing from the University of Surrey.


Robin Grant

Chief Operating Officer

Robin Grant was formerly the Chief Financial Officer of GLG Partners' Fund of Hedge Funds Division, with oversight of all non-investment matters. Additionally he was the Chairman of the Division's Operational Due Diligence Committee. Prior to Robin's appointment as Chief Financial Officer he was the Deputy General Manager of GLG's Cayman Islands Office.

Previously to joining GLG Robin held a number of roles in the financial services sector in Bermuda, including PwC and Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch. Robin is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Robin graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BA (Hons) in Economics.


Randall Bone

Randall Bone

As President of Sunrise Company, Randall Bone brings more than 15 years of hands on experience in the development of more than $2.5 Billion dollars in real estate projects.

Starting his career in construction, Mr. Bone moved through the critical path of project management, finance and new project start ups, gaining extensive experience in each aspect of the project development cycle. He has been responsible for the start up and management of both international and domestic projects.

Mr. Bone is a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute and serves as Chairman of the Recreational Development Council and as a member of the Leadership Group. Mr. Bone graduated cum laude from the University of California at Los Angeles with dual BA degrees in both Economics and Philosophy, with departmental honors, while minoring in Physics. Mr. Bone later received his MBA with High Distinction as a Baker Scholar from The Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration.


Peter Yong

Peter Yong

Peter Yong is the co-founder of Teak Capital, a Kuala Lumpur-based venture capital fund for the information, communication and technology sectors. Established in 2008, Teak Capital is currently seeking investments in Malaysia, Singapore, China, and Australia. Mr. Yong is the the CEO of Microlink Solutions, recognised as the leading provider of Islamic banking software solutions in South East Asia, having installation sites in South East Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. Microlink Solutions was listed on the Kuala Lumpur stock exchange in 2006.

A Singaporean national, Mr. Yong served as VP of Capital Markets at Nikko Securities in Singapore between 1991 and 1995, covering the India sub-continent and South East Asia. Since 1996, Mr. Yong has been an accomplished entrepreneur and built several information technology companies in the Asia Pacific region into leading players in their respective market segments.

Computer Systems Advisers, a company Mr. Yong took public in 1997 was then sold to Computer Science Corp of the US in 2008 for $130m. Along with CSA he was also an investor in MMI limited, a precision engineering company specialising in the machining and sub-assembly of electro-mechanical components for the hard disk drive industry. MMI was listed in 1997 and taken private by private equity firm KKR in 2007 in a transaction valuing the company at $1.005 billion. In addition, Mr. Yong has served as an independent director of Malaysian Insas Berhad, a company with diverse holdings in fashion retailing and restaurants.

Mr. Yong graduated from Reading University in the United Kingdom with a double major in Economics and Accounting.


Paul Zuckerman

Paul Zuckerman

As Chairman and CEO of Zuckerman & Associates LLC, Paul Zuckerman carries over 30 years of investment experience. Zuckerman & Associates LLC advises technology and life science related start ups, working with strategic and venture capital sources of finance. In association, he chairs and runs Westgate Hall PLC, a small private investment company investing in start up companies. In all, he has participated in nine early stage investments.

Upon obtaining a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Reading University in 1974, Dr. Zuckerman became Senior Agricultural Economist for the World Bank in Washington D.C. He went onto spend the next fourteen years at SG Warburg & Co Ltd in London serving as an Executive Director, Vice Chairman of SG Warburg International, and Chairman of SG Warburg Latin America Ltd. During the 1990's Dr. Zuckerman was Managing Director of Investment Banking for Caspian Securities and was responsible for managing and setting up investment banking departments worldwide.


Kathleen Danoher

Kathleen Danoher

Kathleen Danoher is an independent consultant in private equity with over 12 years combined financial services and asset management experience. She is a former Associate Partner and Senior Investment Manager at Invesco Private Capital where she was responsible for principal investment activities for a $1.5b USD program for Non-US fund of funds for 9 years. Kathleen co-managed the London office operations and actively participated in product development, marketing and client reporting. Kathleen serves on the advisory boards of Barings Asia, Navis Partners and Iris Capital.

In addition, Kathleen was a Senior Accountant in the financial services practice of PWC, New York where she specialized in offshore private equity and hedge funds.

Kathleen holds a BS from New York University Stern School of Business and MBA from Harvard Business School.


Christopher Wright

Christopher Wright

Christopher Wright is a director of Merifin Capital Group, a private European investment firm. Until 2003 he served as Head of Global Private Equity for Dresdner Kleinwort Capital (c.$4.5bn under management) and was a Group Board Member of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. He has acted as Chairman of various investment funds prior to and following the latter's integration with Allianz Private Equity. Mr. Wright has spent over 24 years financing and advising smaller and mid-sized companies operating in the USA, Canada, Asia and Europe. He joined Kleinwort Benson Limited in London in 1978 and in 1981 co-founded the Group's offices in Los Angeles. In 1986 he relocated to New York to manage the Kleinwort Benson Limited portfolio of North American private equity and mezzanine investments.

Mr. Wright is Chairman of EMAlternatives LLC, an emerging markets focused investment firm. He is also a non executive director of Roper industries Inc (NYSE), IDOX plc (AIM), and Chairman of Maxcess International Inc among being affiliated with other private companies and investment funds.

Mr. Wright was educated at Oxford University (MA) and holds a certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance. He is Foundation Fellow, Corpus Christi College, Oxford.
